Understanding Sheets and Tabs
WorkHub organises your workspace into sheets — each one a dedicated environment for a specific type of work. Sheets are accessed via the tab bar at the top of the WorkHub panel.
The tab bar
The tab bar is always visible at the top of the panel. It shows all sheets for the current issue.
- Click any tab to switch to that sheet
- Click + to create a new sheet
- Right-click a tab (or click the ⋯ menu) to rename, duplicate, or delete it
- Drag tabs left or right to reorder them
Sheet types
| Type | Icon | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Data Grid | 📊 | Tabular data, CSV export |
| Rich Text | 📝 | Long-form notes, PRDs, runbooks |
| Checklist | ✅ | Tasks with due dates, assignees and priorities |
| Discussion | 💬 | Threaded topic conversations |
Sheet limits
- Up to 20 sheets per Jira issue
- No limit on the number of rows, items, or topics within a sheet (subject to Forge Storage quotas)
Privacy
Every sheet has a privacy setting:
| Setting | Who can see it |
|---|---|
| Public | Anyone with access to the Jira issue |
| Private | Only the sheet creator (you) |
To change privacy: right-click the tab → Privacy → toggle Public/Private.
Renaming a sheet
Double-click the tab name, or right-click the tab and select Rename. Sheet names can be up to 50 characters.
Deleting a sheet
Right-click the tab → Delete → confirm. Deletion is permanent and removes all content in the sheet.
Duplicating a sheet
Right-click the tab → Duplicate. A copy is created with the same content and the suffix (copy). Privacy is inherited from the original.
