Due Dates and Overdue Indicators
Due dates let you set deadlines on individual checklist items. WorkHub automatically highlights items that are past their due date so nothing slips through the cracks.
Setting a due date
- Hover over the item and click the calendar icon, or expand the item and click the due date field
- A date picker appears ā select a date
- Optionally set a time (click the clock icon in the date picker)
- Click Apply to confirm
Editing or removing a due date
- Click the existing due date on the item to reopen the date picker and change it
- Click the ā next to the date to remove it
Overdue indicators
WorkHub compares each item's due date to the current date and time. When an item is overdue:
| Element | Change |
|---|---|
| Due date label | Turns red and bold |
| Item row | Gains a red left border |
| Checklist tab badge | Shows a red count of overdue items |
Overdue indicators are live ā they update as time passes without any user action.
Completed items and due dates
When an item is marked complete, the overdue indicator is removed even if the due date has passed. The completion timestamp is recorded separately from the due date.
Date-only vs. date and time
| Setting | Overdue trigger | Reminder behaviour |
|---|---|---|
| Date only (no time) | Item becomes overdue at midnight on the due date | Reminder sent at 9:00 AM on the chosen day offset |
| Date and time | Item becomes overdue at the specified time | Reminder sent at the configured interval before the exact time |
