Installation
WorkHub installs in under 2 minutes directly from the Atlassian Marketplace. No servers, no configuration files, no webhooks.
Prerequisites
- A Jira Cloud instance (WorkHub is Cloud-only)
- Jira Administrator permissions to install Marketplace apps
Step 1 — Find WorkHub on the Marketplace
- Open your Jira instance
- Click the Apps menu in the top navigation
- Select Explore more apps
- Search for WorkHub
- Click on the WorkHub listing
Step 2 — Install
- Click Try it free (or Buy now if you already have a licence)
- Review the permissions WorkHub requests and click Accept & install
- Wait for the installation to complete (usually under 30 seconds)
Step 3 — Verify
- Navigate to any Jira issue in your project
- Scroll down past the issue description and comments
- You should see the WorkHub panel
If the panel doesn't appear, try refreshing the page. If it still doesn't appear, check that the app is listed under Apps → Manage apps → User-installed apps.
Permissions
WorkHub requests the following Jira permissions:
| Permission | Why it's needed |
|---|---|
| Read issues | To display the current issue context in the panel |
| Write issues | To push Data Grid values to Jira fields |
| Read users | To populate the assignee picker in Checklist |
| Create subtasks | To promote checklist items to Jira subtasks |
| Send notifications | To deliver checklist reminders via Jira notifications |
Uninstalling
To remove WorkHub: Apps → Manage apps → WorkHub → Uninstall.
Note: Uninstalling permanently deletes all WorkHub data for your Jira instance. All sheets, content, and settings stored in Forge Storage are removed and cannot be recovered.
