Filtering and Sorting

Use filters and sort controls to focus on the checklist items that matter most without removing or reordering them permanently.

Sorting

Click Sort in the checklist toolbar to choose a sort order:

Sort optionOrder
Manual (default)The order you dragged items into
PriorityHigh → Medium → Low → No priority
Due dateSoonest due first; items with no due date at the bottom
AssigneeAlphabetical by assignee name; unassigned at the bottom
Created dateOldest first (default creation order)
CompletionIncomplete items first, completed items at the bottom

Sort is a view-only operation — it doesn't change the stored item order. Clear the sort to return to your manual order.

Filtering

Click Filter in the checklist toolbar to filter by one or more attributes:

Status

  • All — show all items (default)
  • Incomplete — hide completed items
  • Complete — show only completed items
  • Overdue — show only items past their due date (and not yet completed)

Priority

Filter by High, Medium, Low, or No priority. Multiple priority levels can be selected (OR logic).

Assignee

  • Me — show only items assigned to you
  • Unassigned — show only items with no assignee
  • Specific person — select any team member from the user picker

Combining filters

Multiple filters can be active at the same time. Items must match all active filters (AND logic).

Clearing filters

Click Clear filters in the filter panel or the āœ• next to the active filter chip to remove individual filters.

Tip: Filter by Assignee → Me at the start of the day to see only your own tasks across any shared Public checklist.
