Priorities — High, Medium, Low
Each checklist item can be assigned a priority level. Priorities are colour-coded and can be used to filter and sort the list so the most important items stay visible.
Priority levels
| Priority | Colour | When to use |
|---|---|---|
| High | Red dot | Blocking or critical — must be done before other items |
| Medium | Orange dot | Important but not blocking |
| Low | Grey dot | Nice to have, can be deprioritised |
| None | No dot | No explicit priority set |
Setting a priority
- Hover over the item to reveal the action icons
- Click the priority dot (or the empty circle if no priority is set)
- Select High, Medium, or Low from the dropdown
Alternatively, expand the item and use the priority selector in the detail panel.
Changing or removing a priority
- Click the priority dot and select a different level, or
- Select No priority to remove it
Sorting by priority
To sort the checklist by priority:
- Click Sort in the checklist toolbar
- Select Priority
- High items appear first, then Medium, then Low, then items with no priority
Filtering by priority
Use the Filter dropdown to show only items of a specific priority level. This is useful when you want to focus on all High-priority tasks across the list.
Tip: Priorities in WorkHub checklists are independent of Jira priorities. They are local to the checklist and do not affect the Jira issue's priority field unless you explicitly sync via the Data Grid.
